The difference between forgiveness and acceptance
A lot of clients have questioned me about forgiveness, acceptance and letting go and it seemed to me that it can be a grey area for some people knowing what each is and what it means to forgive, to let go or to accept. As it is such an important topic for your mental, emotional, physical and energetic health I wanted to let you know the key differences. Continue reading
Adjusting to holidayitis
We’ve all had it, we all know what it’s like. When you have been somewhere on holidays or even just at home and then the time comes when you have to return home, return to work, return to routine and often return to all the old stuff that used to happen. Continue reading

Artificial guilt – possibly the most unconstructive feeling there is
Guilt is one of those feelings that everyone has experienced so we all know how awful it can make you feel, both physically, emotionally and mentally. Continue reading
Criticism – why it’s so harmful
When people think of criticism, most think of either deliberate criticism (a blunt, hurtful, rude or judgmental comment made intentionally) or constructive criticism (a comment designed to ‘help’ you in some way with performance, behaviour, etc). Continue reading
The 80/20 Rule
I’m sure most of you have heard at least somewhere about the 80/20 rule. It is applied in many circumstances and a lot of the time in relation to wealth than 20% of the people have 80% of the money. Well the 80/20 rule also applies to personal development and our issues as well. Continue reading
One of the real causes of anger
Do you find yourself getting angry or reactive with your partner, your kids, your boss or your friends? Are you often unsure what it’s really about as nothing specific has happened to warrant such an outburst? Do you wonder how you can get this under control? Continue reading
Everyone has issues
Something that I hear over and over from people is them wondering whether other people have the same sorts of issues that they have, is what I’m telling you “normal” or have you never heard it before? Am I a total weirdo and the only one feeling this??? Continue reading
The Power of Breathing
Breathing. Sounds pretty simple, a no brainer. But did you know that a lot of people don’t breathe correctly? To test your breathing take a look at a child around 2 and see how they are breathing. You’ll notice that their stomach expands as they breath in and that the movement goes from the stomach up to the lungs. Now look at how you breathe. Does your breath go down to your stomach or does it finish at your chest? Continue reading
Are you grounded in your body or your head?
Most people if they were honest would probably say their head. You know when you’re in your head when you think too much, can’t sleep as you are thinking and suffer from analysis paralysis. You can also tell if you are in your head if life lacks that fullness and luster that you have experienced before. Continue reading

Cleanse the body, mind & emotions
I just recently did a cleanse. It was a 10 day program with herbal capsules and a strict diet. That meant doing without all the things I have grown accustomed. Tea (sweet tea with milk), sugar, carbs, alcohol basically everything except fruit and veggies. Continue reading
