Corns and calluses

Corns and calluses are areas of skin that have overgrown, thickened and hardened. Calluses are normally found on the soles of feet and corns are commonly formed on or between toes. They are formed due to repeated friction on one point of the foot (e.g. due to poorly fitting shoes).

Symptoms: inflammation and pain. Corn – tender to touch.

Who to consult: GP, herbalist, pharmacist, podiatrist.
