Stewed Beef with Potato, Carrot & Spices

Serves: 4

Ingredients

Method

  • 1kg cubed stewing beef
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Pearl River Bridge Premium Oyster Flavoured Sauce
  • 500mL water
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 large potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 4 carrots, cut into 2.5cm pieces
  • 4 stalks celery, cut into 2.5cm pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 2 tsp cold water
  1. Brown beef in oil over medium heat in large pot.
  2. Mix Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce and Premium Oyster Flavoured Sauce with 500ml water and pour into pot.
  3. Add rosemary, parsley and pepper to pot. Bring to boil, then cover and simmer on low heat for 1 hour.
  4. Add potato, carrot, celery and onion. Dissolve cornflour in 2 tsp cold water and stir into stew. Cover and simmer for 1 more hour and serve.

Braised Shrimp with Curry Sauce

Braised Shrimp with Curry Sauce

Ingredients

  • Sauce
  • 3 tsp red curry sauce
  • 2 tsp Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • Dash sesame oil
  • Dash cooking oil

  • 800g shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  1. Mix together sauce ingredients together, add shrimp and marinate for 30 mins.
  2. In pan, heat some oil, fry shrimp until golden then set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic, bring sauces to boil and add shrimp. Mix well and serve.

Caramelised Salmon Fillet with Soy Sauce

Serves: 2

Caramelised Salmon Fillet with Soy Sauce

Ingredients

Method

  • 700g salmon fillets
  • Pinch lemon pepper
  • Pinch garlic powder
  • Salt
  • 30g butter

  • Sauce
  • 70mL Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce
  • 60g brown sugar
  • 70mL water
  • Dash vegetable oil
  1. Coat salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder and salt.
  2. In bowl, mix together sauce ingredients.
  3. In bag, place salmon and sauce mixture, turn to coat, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Discard sauce on salmon fillets. Melt butter in pan over medium heat, cook salmon fillet until golden brown, about 4 mins each side.
  5. Serve with favourite dressing.

Fried Potato Pancake with Sauce

Fried Potato Pancake with Sauce

Ingredients

Method

  • 300g potato, peeled & sliced
  • 60g bacon, sliced & cut into short, thin strips
  • 80g corn kernels
  • Oil, for frying
  • Handful shallots, chopped

  • Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Pearl River Bridge Premium Oyster Flavoured Sauce
  • 1 tsp Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp eggs, beaten
  • Pinch pepper
  1. Steam sliced potato for about 10 mins until tender, then mash with spoon.
  2. Fry briefly bacon, add corn kernels and stir lightly.
  3. Mix bacon and sweet corn into mashed potato, add sauces and mix well.
  4. Divide potato into 12 balls.
  5. In pan, heat some oil, fry potato over medium heat and press flat with pan scoop.
  6. Shallow-fry potato until golden, then garnish with shallots and favourite sauce.
