Win 1 of 5 copies of Grown & Gathered
We love a good read here at WellBeing and Grown & Gathered would have to be one of the most thoughtful and inspiring books we’ve ever received. It’s so good that we thought you might like to win a copy!
The authors, Matt and Lentil, began selling produce from their central Victorian farm to some of Melbourne’s top restaurants and cafes, encouraging chefs to adopt the principles of local and sustainable farming. Word travelled fast and they decided to open their van doors to all Melburnians, pulling into forgotten side streets to sell and trade homegrown vegies, flowers and produce. They soon sold out week after week and their knowledge of the seasons, growing and trade became sought after. Thankfully for folk living elsewhere, Grown & Gathered, was born.
Matt and Lentil’s practical guide is based on the traditional village concept of trade: that life is easier and more fulfilling when we swap and share our abundance. Whether you live on a farm or in the city, you’ll love learning about how to hunt wild game, raise farm animals, grow vegetables and flowers, preserve pickles and make sourdough bread, cultured butter, natural wine and much, much more.
To win one of five copies of Grown & Gathered, valued at AU$45, simply fill out the form below and tell us what you’d like to learn to grow and gather!
