We're all in need of a little TLC, so we teamed up with Organic Merchant to bring you our favourite self-care recipes to nurture your mind, body and soul.

We’re all in need of a little TLC, especially with the stress of the pandemic and chaos of everything else going on in the world being at an all-time high. So we teamed up with Organic Merchant to bring you our favourite self-care recipes to nurture your mind, body and soul — you can thank us later…

Our friends at Organic Merchant believe the ritual of taking a bath can be a restorative, healing practice. Baths are an essential part of a self-care and wellness routine and can be especially enhanced when you combine traditional bath minerals with organic herbal ingredients like organic rose petals.

Homemade Bath Recipe with Oats & Rose Petals

  • Organic oats, rolled or instant
  • Epsom salts
  • Dried rose petals (buy them online at organicmerchant.com.au)
  • Storage container (preferably glass)
  • Muslin drawstring bag
  1. Layer the oats, Epsom salts and dried rose petals in a glass jar in equal amounts. Cap tightly and store until you are ready to use.
  2. To use, measure 3-4 tbsp of bath salts and place into a muslin drawstring bag.
  3. Place the bag in your bath as you fill it with warm water.
  4. Relax in the bath for 30-40 minutes.
  5. When you’re ready to get out, pat the skin dry (don’t rub) so your skin doesn’t lose its moisture.
