Peanut Butter Hemp Smoothie Recipe

By adding hemp seeds to your smoothies, you not only get a lovely mild nutty flavour but they are rich in omega 3 and 6 and are a great source of protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp MCT oil
  • ¼ cup hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup ice

Method


  • In a blender, blitz all ingredients until desired consistency is reached.
  • Sprinkle with hemp seeds and coconut.
  • Tip: To save time, I love to pre-blend my banana, maca, vanilla and MCT then pour into ice trays and pop into my morning smoothies.
