Cancer – colorectal

Risk factors: colorectal polyps, calcium deficiency, heredity, constipation and/or diarrhoea, inflammatory bowel disease, a diet high in saturated fat and low in fibre, obesity, smoking and alcohol consumption.

Symptoms: rectal bleeding, changes in bowel habits, blood in the stool, persistent abdominal pain, anaemia, significant weight loss, pallor and fatigue.
