Stargazing: September to November 2026

VIRGO
Virgo’s practicality is legendary, thanks to ruler Mercury. When Mercury enters Scorpio on September 30, it supports Virgo’s plans and activities with Water/Earth harmonies. October is dynamic, but use caution on October 2, 3 and 11 to keep Mars chaos at bay. When, on October 24, Mercury goes ‘mercurial’ by shifting into retrograde motion, try to consolidate tasks underway rather than starting new ones. Review recent communication; be aware that October 31 easily evokes conflict. Venus, too, is retrograde until November 14, when both planets shift into direct motion together. This happy coincidence then moves things along rapidly and sweetly.

LIBRA
Spring Equinox begins your time in the Sun. That Libran balance is supported by good friendships, plus surprising returns of old friends, thanks to Venus in retrograde motion. You are energised by October 5 to 7, more so by Libra New Moon on October 11, seeding new directions, boosted on the 16th. Venus comes back home to Libra on October 25, with a timely burst of love and creativity. October 31 to November 4 is extra special. Her shift to direct motion in mid-November makes finances and emotions buzz with relief. Now, Mercury and Venus emerge together, carrying you forward.

SCORPIO
With September 23’s Spring Equinox, longer days begin. More time for you to maximise the September 30 benefits of both Venus and Mercury in Scorpio, plus their meeting on October 7. This means emotions and mind are on full power. Hold onto that clarity, and do not over-react to a challenge on October 11. Perhaps reconsider details of your plans, when both Venus and Mercury move retrograde from October 24. Scorpio New Moon on November 9 seeds a new cycle for you, while, synchronously, those two planets move into direct motion on November 14, making this day your special go-ahead.

SAGITTARIUS
You have a go-ahead signal for adventures and travel, with Mars and Jupiter in fi ery Leo through October and November, and a harmonious Fire link between Jupiter and Saturn. Saturn now boosts good fi nancial acumen, supporting your careful management. Aim to get plans in place by September 27’s Full Moon. Be cautious on October 2 to 5, on the 11th, the 20th, and 27 to 31. From November 14, Venus in direct motion paves your path to one of your best birthday periods. Ruler Jupiter is fired up, so some caution may be lacking, but your creative imagination is on overdrive.

CAPRICORN
While your ruling planet Saturn moves through fiery Aries, you are being challenged to open up, to drop excessive caution. This is not an easy ask, yet September and October off er rewards for doing so. Jupiter, the Greater Fortune, holds fi ery harmonies with Saturn, off ering both travel and investment prospects for September 15 to 26, and October 7 to 16.
