Soy Sauce Chicken Wings

Serves: 2

Ingredients

Method

  • 6 chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Pearl River Bridge Premium Oyster Flavoured Sauce
  • Corn starch, to coat

  • Seasoning
  • ½ tsp corn starch
  • 2 tbsp water

  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • Handful white sesame seed
  1. Marinate chicken wings in Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce and Pearl River Bridge Premium Oyster Flavoured Sauce for 15 mins.
  2. Coat chicken wings in corn starch and deep-fry until golden. Set aside.
  3. Mix together seasoning ingredients.
  4. Sauté ginger and garlic until fragrant, then add sugar, seasoning and chicken wings. Cover and cook until done.
  5. Garnish with white sesame seed and serve.

Mushrooms in Oyster Sauce

Serves: 3

Ingredients

Method

  • Oil
  • ½ tsp chopped ginger
  • 250g mushrooms, chopped
  • A few spring onions, chopped

  • Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Pearl River Bridge Premium Oyster Flavoured Sauce
  • 1 tsp Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar
  1. Heat oil in frypan and sauté ginger until fragrant. Add mushroom and stir-fry for 3 mins over high heat.
  2. Add Pearl River Bridge Premium Oyster Flavoured Sauce, Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce and sugar and keep stirring for 2 mins.
  3. Garnish with spring onion and serve.

Sweet & Sour Meatballs with Mashed Potato

Serves: 2

Ingredients

Method

  • 2 potatoes, peeled
  • 10g butter
  • 30mL cream
  • Salt & pepper
  • 300g minced pork
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp Pearl River Bridge Mushroom Flavoured Superior Dark Soy Sauce

  • Sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 375mL water
  • 4 tbsp Pearl River Bridge Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce
  1. Boil potatoes for 30 mins and mash.
  2. Heat frypan over low heat, add butter, cream and salt and pepper. Mix in mashed potato.
  3. Combine minced pork and egg. Add Pearl River Bridge Mushroom Flavoured Superior Dark Soy Sauce and salt. Mix thoroughly and shape into golfball-sized balls, then fry for 3 mins. Remove and drain.
  4. Combine brown sugar, corn starch, water, Pearl River Bridge Rice Vinegar and Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce and mix thoroughly in pot. Add meatballs and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 mins, then serve.

Sweet & Sour Ribs

Serves: 4

Ingredients

Method

  • 600g spare ribs, cut into pieces
  • A few spring onions, chopped

  • Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce
  • 4 tbsp chinkiang vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cooking wine
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 5 tbsp water
  1. Blanch spare ribs in boiling water for several minutes, then rinse and drain well.
  2. Combine sauce ingredients in pot and bring to boil over medium-high heat, then add spare ribs. When boiling again, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour until sauce thickens.
  3. Serve immediately garnished with spring onion.
