A Q&A with The Divine Company

We speak to the team at The Divine Company to find out more about their certified organic beauty, skin, baby and personal care products.

How was The Divine Company born?

The Divine Company was born out of a desire to offer certified organic, safe skincare, which is highly effective. There were no high quality, certified organic personal care products on the market, so the founders created the Divine collection.

What was your initial vision for The Divine Company, and has this changed over time?

The initial vision for the Divine company was to create Certified Organic personal care and baby care products, but since then we have introduced our age defying Divine Woman collection. We wanted to change the conversation Women have with themselves – honouring themselves and their beauty by creating skincare which is Certified Organic, natural, but effective and safe. We are celebrating the power of science as it propels Certified Organics to new heights.

Tell us more about the importance of being a certified organics business.

In an industry where there is a lot of ‘green washing’ having the ACO Australian Certified Organic certification means our customers know exactly what is in our products. We are transparent about what ingredients we use and know these are safe for the whole family.

What are some of the key ingredients used in The Divine Company products?

In our Divine Woman collection we focus on highly active, age defying botanicals. You will find ingredients like: Native Australian Kakadu Plum – Kakadu Plum is the highest known source of anti- oxidising Vitamin C to repair damage caused by environmental stress and neutralise free radicals. Vigna Aconitifolia Seed Extract – A botanical alternative to retinol, however not sun-sensitive. Clinically proven to reduce wrinkle depth as it stimulates cellular renewal and collagen synthesis. Squalane – Derived from olives to mirror the skin’s natural sebum, Squalane creates a barrier between the skin and the external environment helping to penetrate deep into the epidermis for hydration, softness and protection. These are just a few of the many amazing ingredients we use!

Your range is suited for men, women and children—is this family ethos a part of The Divine Company’s core values?

It sure is! Actually our Divine Woman collection is great for men’s skin too. We also have our Certified Organic Divine Baby collection, which is for newborns, toddlers, children and has two products to use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

What does a typical day look like at The Divine Company?

There isn’t really a typical day at Divine! There are always a lot of different things happening in the office and we have a small team who all work together. We do a lot of planning ahead for promotions, marketing campaigns and product launches, which take up a lot of our day. We focus a lot on the customer experience, we want to make sure that we create an amazing customer experience for everyone, so we spend a lot of time on customer service and orders.

What are three of your favourite products in the The Divine Company range?

My three favourite products would be the Divine Woman Miracle Oil Serum – amazing for reducing redness, treating rosacea and sun damage. I also love the Divine Woman Collagen Enhancing Night Cream – this night cream has amazing active ingredients for anti-ageing and also stimulates collagen production, leaving your skin plump when you wake up! It is also amazing in helping prevent pigmentation. The third product would have to be our Divine Woman Exfoliating Cream – this exfoliating cream is effective, but gentle enough to use multiple times a week. It also a dual use product as a exfoliant and face mask!

What does wellbeing mean to you?

Wellbeing at Divine means a holistic approach to health. We believe living a healthy lifestyle is about what you put on your skin, food you choose to eat, moving your body and practicing mindfulness.

What’s next for The Divine Company?

We have some exciting new products launching this year and we are also focusing on our newly relaunched Divine Baby collection.
