Discover Alamanda Palm Cove in QLD
Set among swaying coconut palms and endless turquoise waters, Alamanda Palm Cove offers a breathtaking backdrop that few spas in Australia can match. A blissful tropical hideaway located within the five-star boutique hotel by Lancemore, the spa offers beachfront luxury at its very best.
The Alamanda experience is all about space and barefoot elegance. Accomodation options start at 85 square metres for one-bedroom suites and finish at a whopping 250 square metres. When you consider the average size of a new one-bedroom apartment is 50 square metres and that a tennis court is approximately 260 square metres, you can appreciate just how spacious the self-contained suites at Alamanda Palm Cove are.
All suites welcome the tropical climate in with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors opening onto your private balcony with intoxicating beachfront or garden views. No matter what room type, you will enjoy contemporary designer furnishings, Miele kitchen appliances, a flat-screen TV with movies on demand, separate living and dining areas, air conditioning and ceiling fans, king-size beds, exquisite linen, ensuites with a shower, free Wi-Fi and luxury amenities.
From your suite, you will step out onto golden sands with sweeping views of the Coral Sea; that is, unless you have been tempted by the beautiful pools, the award-winning Alamanda Spa or the legendary Nu Nu Restaurant. If time is the ultimate luxury, then an escape to a sleepy tropical hamlet like Palm Cove is time well spent. From thoughtful trimmings to welcome the whole family or romantic beachfront dinners for two to rainforest and reef adventures, few bucket lists can match – Alamanda Palm Cove is your home away from home in Australia’s Garden of Eden.
The natural environment of Alamanda is breathtaking and soothing all at once. After your chosen treatment at the Alamanda Spa, take in the open skies and panoramic views with a swim in the plunge pool or recline on the rooftop with a cup of organic tea. As you gaze at the sparkling ocean and listen to the soothing sound of waves crash gently against the shore, you’ll be filled with a sense of deep relaxation and inner peace.
With caring service catering to you every need, the experienced therapists at Alamanda will help you melt away tension and rebalance you body, mind and soul. The Alamanda Spa menu includes signature massages, hot stone therapies, restorative facials, specialised pregnancy treatments and indulgent packages. To complement any treatment for a memorable special occasion, reserve a private Spa Pavilion where up to two people can experience exclusive rooftop relaxation complete with a private plunge pool and food and beverage service.
Some of the most popular skin treatments include the refreshing Mango Enzyme & Creamy Coconut Body Wrap, which harnesses the exotic fruit oils of mango and coconut to refresh, clarify and reduce the signs of ageing, and the Firm Skin Berry Refined Detox Peel infused with antioxidant-rich blueberries, raspberries and blackberries to help plump skin and minimise fine lines and wrinkles.
To truly unwind from tension and stress, the 90-minute hot stone massage works to detoxify skin and relax muscles to restore a sense of calm. Or discover deep relaxation with the unique Four Hands Massage, where two therapists work simultaneously to deliver a soothing rhythmic massage.
For the ultimate spa experience, treat yourself to the five-hour Palm Cove Escape, a personalised package that includes a massage, body polish and wrap, renewing facial, nutrient-rich scalp treatment and lunch prepared by the award-winning Nu Nu Restaurant, followed by full access to the resort facilities where you can relax by the pool for the rest of the day. The Spa Pavilion and accomodation open from 9am to 7pm every day (excluding public holidays).
Whether you’re looking for a quick pick-me-up or day-long pampering, Alamanda will instil you with a feeling of contentment long after your departure.
Discover the delicious fresh produce from chef Nick Holloway’s iconic Nu Nu restaurant. Voted the 2015 Australian Gourmet Traveller and 2017 Good Food Guide Queensland Regional Restaurant of the Year, the vibrant seasonal menu is a true reflection of the bountiful tropical North Queensland region.
When booking a private Spa Pavilion, enjoy service from the poolside menu and a selection of boutique wine options for you to indulge in post treatment, from the Lancemore Group’s five-star Halliday-rated Lindenderry Estate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to a celebratory bottle of Mumm Champagne.
Alamanda Spa also offers spa and lunch and spa and high tea packages, for guests to enjoy a bespoke treatment and delicious morsels while taking in the beautiful ocean views.
