Byron Yoga Centre’s 500 hour residential course encompasses both the 200 hour Level 1 and the 300 hour Level 2 courses. The courses are fully accredited with Yoga Alliance, so you achieve the higher status of a RYT 500 certification with one course. You will start your yoga teaching career with many advantages, not only an elevated certification but also in your skills, knowledge and confidence. To achieve their 500 hour certification with one course students undertake a 40 day residential intensive and then complete further units and practical teaching hours in their own time to gain the certificate.

(12 modules including 72 hours of lecture, discussion, exercise practice and analysis)

The Comprehensive Global Program includes the Mat Program as well as a thorough and complete education in Pilates covering the full range of Pilates equipment (Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ped-a-pul, Ladder Barrel, Step Barrel and various auxiliary apparatus).

A college-level teacher training program that gives students knowledge of Pilates theory, exercises and teaching skills on all Pilates equipment. When you complete BASI’s  Comprehensive Pilates teacher training program you will have graduated from the most rigorous, exciting and positively life-changing Pilates teacher training in the business.

In 2022  there are Comprehensive Programs scheduled at host studios in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Cairns.

BASI Pilates Mat teacher training is perfect for learning the principles of the Pilates Method. It’s affordable, easy to integrate into different settings and a great way to introduce people to Pilates. At BASI, matwork is regarded as the “crown jewel” of Pilates. The Mat Program offers a thorough education in all aspects of Mat Pilates and it’s the perfect springboard to the Comprehensive Global Program.

In 2022 there are Mat Programs scheduled at host studios in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Cairns.

In 2022 there are opportunities to complete the Mat Program and Comprehensive Global Program via virtual learning.  These courses are delivered via Zoom meetings for those who cannot travel to a BASI Pilates host studio.

The Virtual program provides students with an incredible opportunity and new perspective. BASI Australia’s Director of Education and Faculty, Jordanna Smith says,
