Ingredients
- 2-3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tbsp dried chamomile flowers
- 1 tsp dried ginger root (optional)
- 1 tbsp mint leaves
- 3 cups filtered water
- Honey, to sweeten (optional)
Method
- In a saucepan, boil the water then reduce to a simmer.
- Break up the cinnamon sticks and add them to the pan along with chamomile flowers, ginger root and mint. Stir.
- Steep for 20-30 mins (the longer, the stronger the flavour).
- Remove from heat and strain.
- Drink 1 to 4 cups a day, hot or cold. Sweeten with honey if desired.
