Celery juice

Celery for detox, your gut, your skin and much, much more

Celery is not just a vegetable it’s also an herb and great for your health. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects due to its ability to starve unproductive bacteria such as yeast, mould, fungus, and viruses. It flushes toxins and junk from intestinal tract and liver. These pathogens cause inflammation in your body. It also helps good bacteria thrive.

Alkalize your gut with celery. It is high in bioactive sodium and contains co-factor micro trace mineral salts. These work together with each other to help to raise your body’s pH and remove toxic acids. This is great for cleansing and repairing your intestinal linings.

Celery contains enzymes and co-enzymes. It raises hydrochloric acid in the stomach which helps digest foods better and fend off gastrointestinal disorders. Celery juice can help resolve ammonia permeability issues. When ammonia gas seeps into the intestinal lining it causes problems such as dental rot and brain fog. It can help improve kidney function, restore the adrenals, and ease worrying thought patterns. This is due to its mineral salts feeding electrical impulses and supporting neuron function. This can help with ADHD, brain fog, or memory loss. It hydrates on a deep cellular level assisting in preventing stress and migraines.

Health benefits of Celery juice

Celery can help with a whole range of illnesses. Everything from skin complaints to leaky gut, reproduction issues, thyroid issues to diabetes. Also with adrenal issues, UTIs and kidney issues, fatty liver, IBS, candida and yeast infections, parasites and even some infections. Adding celery to your diet benefits many issues.

Emotions and your gut

Quite often our emotions effect our health. Remember some people hold a lot of fear in their guts which often makes us feel nervous. Celery can restore your digestive system and is calming when you feel frightened, shocked or unsure of yourself.

How to use celery juice

Drinking this green juice is quite simplistic and often people make the mistake of thinking it is too simplistic so they start adding other things to their celery juice. The truth though is that this juice on its one is often enough to do the trick but you would need to drink a lot of it. It is best on an empty stomach and if the taste is too tart for you then you can add cucumber and apple but it really is best drunk on its own. About 450 ml is a good amount and remember it will take at least seven days to see some results. If you try the celery juice detox for 30 days then be prepared to see some changes in your skin, hair, digestive tract and bowel movements as well as the effect it may have on your urine. Perhaps have a class in the morning about an hour or half hour before breakfast. Remember when you eat and drink together you dilute the digestive enzymes so it definitely needs to be drunk in the morning on its own.

Taking things gently

As with any new program you start remember to take it gently. Everyone’s body is different and your body needs to adjust to the changes of having the juice and also to the detox effect it will have on you. It will have a different effect on everyone depending on the toxins you are carrying in your body and the pollutants you are exposed to in comparison to someone else.

It’s also handy at the time to watch what other foods you are eating and to cut out some of the chemicals and pollutants in your home. There is no point in putting the good juice in if you are going to spoil it by overloading on chemicals and denatured food. Why not go organic for a month. Personally we have been eating organic fruits and vegetables for years and it becomes very easy to tell the difference when you go somewhere and the food is not quite as clear. Remember what you eat will affect you on every level. The way your mind works, your emotions and even in your spiritual journey. You wouldn’t bring a dumpster and empty it into your nicely cleaned lounge room so why would you do that to your body?
