Quick and Healthy Za’atar and Lamb Flatbreads Recipe

I love cooking these Za’atar and Lamb Flatbreads when I’m craving something delicious but don’t have a lot of time or energy to cook.

Serves: 2



  • 200g lamb mince
  • Salt & pepper, to season
  • 2 flatbreads or pizza bases
  • 2 tbsp za’atar spice mix
  • Olive oil
  1. Preheat oven to 225°C.
  2. Season lamb mince and break it up with fingers. Divide between flat breads and press meat down on bread.
  3. Evenly distribute za’atar over lamb, drizzle with olive oil and bake until outside crust is golden and lamb cooked through.
  4. Tip: Cook these in a lidded BBQ on a pizza stone or terracotta plate for a great wood-fired flavour.
