Hemp Banana Bread Loaf

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1½ cups self-raising flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup Essential Hemp Flour
  • ½ cup Essential Hemp Seeds
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. In large bowl, mash peeled bananas until smooth. Whisk in eggs, coconut oil, honey and vanilla until combined.
  3. Sift self-raising flour, Essential Hemp Flour and cinnamon.
  4. Using spatula, mix wet and dry ingredients together until well combined.
  5. Fold in Essential Hemp Seeds and set batter aside. Line loaf tin with baking paper and pour in batter.
  6. Smooth top with spatula and bake for 6070 mins until golden brown.
  7. Cool before serving.

Berry Hempy Muffins

Makes: 12 muffins

Ingredients

Method

  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 2 cups mixed berries
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup Essential Hemp Flour
  • ½ cup Essential Hemp Seeds

  • Decorations
  • 2 cups vegan cream cheese
  • ½ cup mixed berries
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Line 12-hole muffin tin with paper cases. Put all dry ingredients in large bowl and mix well.
  3. In separate bowl, mix wet ingredients until combined. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Fill muffin cups ¾ of the way up. Bake for 25–30 mins or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  4. To decorate, mix cream cheese and berries and pipe on top.

Roasted Vegetables & Hemp Seeds

Roasted Vegetables & Hemp Seeds

Ingredients

Method

  • 3 carrots
  • 3 parsnips
  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 1 large eggplant
  • 2 zucchini
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 small butternut squash
  • 1 large capsicum
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ tsp table salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2–3 tbsp Essential Hemp seeds
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Chop vegetables into chunks and place on baking trays. Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper. Toss well. Bake for 25–35 mins, until all vegetables are tender, turning once with wooden spoon.
  3. Remove cooked vegetables from oven. Sprinkle with Essential Hemp Seeds and serve.

Avocado with Tomato Salsa

Ingredients

Method

  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • ½ cup coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1–2 jalapeños, diced
  • Juice 1 lime
  • 4 tsp Essential Hemp Oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • 3 avocados
  • ¼ cup Essential Hemp Seeds
  1. Place tomatoes, onion, coriander and jalapeños in bowl, and add lime juice and Essential Hemp Oil. Mix well and season generously with salt and pepper. Stir salsa, making sure that juices left at bottom of bowl are distributed. Taste and adjust with more salt if necessary.
  2. Cut avocados in halves with spoon, fill with salsa and sprinkle with Essential Hemp Seeds for a delicious snack.

Quick Oats with Protein

Serves: 1–2

Ingredients

Method

  • ½ cup quick oats
  • 1 cup soy milk
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp Essential Hemp Protein Powder
  • ¼ cup frozen berries
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 4 strawberries, sliced
  • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • ¼ cup Essential Hemp Seeds
  1. Add oats, soy milk, cinnamon, honey, vanilla and Essential Hemp Protein Powder into bowl. Microwave for 5 mins until liquid has been absorbed and oats thick and fluffy.
  2. Top with more honey, frozen berries, banana, strawberries, desiccated coconut and Essential Hemp Seeds.
