A ‘berry nice’ crumble that takes the guilt out of dessert. Made with Natural Muesli Macadamia Cranberry from Brookfarm.

Ingredients

  • 4 green apples, peeled, cored & roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp water
  • ½ cup Brookfarm Natural Muesli Macadamia Cranberry
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup plain flour
  • 75g butter, softened & chopped
  • 200g mixed fresh berries (blackberries & raspberries)

Method


  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Place the apples, 1 tbsp coconut sugar, lemon juice and water in a medium saucepan and stir to combine. Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until apples are soft, about 5 mins. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  • Meanwhile, combine the muesli, brown sugar and plain flour in a medium bowl. Rub the butter into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  • Combine the cooled apple mixture, berries and remaining coconut sugar together, then spoon into a medium baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the crumble mix evenly over the fruit. Place the baking dish onto a baking tray and bake for 30 mins or until the crumble is golden.
  • Serve warm or chilled with yoghurt or ice cream.
