Adorn Anti-Ageing SPF 20+ Foundation

Do you want a foundation that provides a glowing, dewy complexion while remaining dry with a velvet-like finish? Look no further than the Adorn Anti-Ageing loose mineral foundation. Not only does this foundation have the added benefit of minerals and SPF 20+ (UVA and UVB protection, thank you very much), it is also full coverage even though it is a super lightweight formulation. As this product is a loose powder you don’t want to apply it too liberally. What I did each morning was dip a Kabuki (a powder brush will work just as well) into the pot and tap off the excess before buffing in circular motions over my whole face. This powder has a beautiful shimmer to it, so if you love gleaming, glowing skin then this is a great product for you. For full disclosure, I will add that I have quite oily skin, so powder foundations do work for me. However, with the right moisturizer (or even a rich facial oil) underneath, this could become your new go-to foundation even if you experience sensitivity or dryness. Just remember that a little goes a long way, which means you will use much less product to achieve a perfect finish.

Adorn Peachy Sleep Organic Corrective Concealer

When it comes to the Adorn Peachy Sleep Organic Corrective Concealer, the name really does say it all. With a bright peach hue this concealer corrects and eradicates any under eye darkness and made me look instantly refreshed, like I’d had the best night’s sleep. I have found with most of Adorn’s products that a little goes a long way, so use this concealer sparingly. In my opinion it’s better to build up small amounts rather than apply too much onto your delicate under-eye skin. It has such a smooth, creamy texture and provides a full coverage finish that you might find you don’t need foundation when using this product. I just simply dipped a clean finger in the pot and lightly tapped it under my eye. I often apply concealer with just my finger as I find it blends with ease and allows for my complexion to be enhanced by the product rather than be entirely covered by it. Ensure you close the lid properly after every use and only dip clean fingers or brushes into the pot.

Fit cover Active Mineral Powder Foundation

To be honest, I don’t wear much make up day-to-day, really only reserving it for special occasions or when I want to feel a little fancy. Fitcover Active’s mineral powder foundation could, dare I say it, change my mind. It was so easy to apply, smoothed into my pores flawlessly and left me with an even and light skin-tone and texture. It even left me feeling and looking glamorous and gorgeous – I see why people wear make-up daily.

The Organic Skin Co Primp ‘N’ Prime

You’ve probably heard that it’s a crime not to prime, right? When wearing a full face of makeup, prepping the skin with a primer will guarantee a smooth application and ensure your makeup lasts. This product is lightweight, which I love. I apply so many products before I even get to my makeup, so not having a thick, sticky primer to wrangle with was a definite bonus. The formula is rich in antioxidants, restorative oils and supercritical extracts to nourish the skin while protecting your makeup. This primer (which, by the way, has super cute packaging) gave me a lovely glow and iridescence underneath my foundation. Primp, prime and shine!
