BABY

ecostore Baby Body Wash

For full disclosure, I do not have a baby of my own. However, my very lovely cousin came over with her 2-month old, Isla, for a weekend of pampering (for Isla, not us). Each and every ecostore product we used on little Isla was like magic. I was even told by my cousin that the products were of much higher quality to some other products she had been using on her daughter. The Baby Body Wash smells absolutely divine and after Isla’s bath her skin was remarkably soft (even for a baby). It lathers really well for a natural product meaning we didn’t need to use too much of it in one go. It didn’t leave any sticky or soapy residue on the tub, either. Overall, this is a super easy and reliable product for both mum and bub. Smiles all around!

ecostore Baby Bubble Bath

To try ecostore’s Bubble Bath, I enlisted the help of my cousin and her 2-month-old daughter, Isla. All of ecostore’s products, thus far, have smelt absolutely incredible. They’re fresh, effective and really nurturing for Isla’s precious, young skin. This bubble bath, as it is a natural product, didn’t produce big, show-stopping bubbles, but rather tiny, subtle bubbles on the top of the bath water. I preferred this, as it meant we didn’t lose Isla’s little body in the suds. Any new mum will enjoy this product.

ecostore Baby Foaming Body Wash & Shampoo

To try ecostore’s Foaming Body Wash I enlisted the help of my cousin, Maddy, and her 2 month old daughter, Isla. This product was wonderful and just as effective as the normal body wash from the range. It was a breeze to use, easily dispensed from the packaging, and spread evenly onto Isla’s precious skin and through her minimal hair. Like all of ecostore’s products, this wash smells amazing and made for a lovely bathing experience for mum and bub (and cousin).

ecostore Baby Laundry Liquid

Babies go through a LOT of washing, especially when they use cloth or reusable nappies like my lovely cousin, Maddy, uses with her 2-month-old daughter, Isla. This laundry liquid from ecostore is super ultra-concentrated so we found that we needed only the slightest amount to wash a full load of Isla’s nappies and muslin wraps (of which she has many, in almost every colour). It is completely free of nasty ingredients so is perfect for those with sensitive skin (or very, very young skin). It also left Isla’s things looking and feeling fresh and clean without any overwhelming scents. Another fantastic thing about this product, and something that Maddy loved, was that the bottle was made from renewable sugarcane plastic which is 100% recyclable! Happy mum, happy baby, happy planet!

ecostore Baby Moisturiser

For full disclosure, I do not have a baby of my own. However, my very lovely cousin came over with her 2-month old, Isla, for a weekend of pampering (for Isla, not us). Each and every ecostore product we used on little Isla was like magic. I was even told by my cousin that the products were of much higher quality to some other products she had been using on her daughter. This is such a lovely product. Isla is very fair and as a result her skin is quite sensitive. This product is super gentle on Isla’s fragile skin because of its coconut oil component. It wasn’t too oily or too harsh. This product caused absolutely no irritation. If anything, it promoted healthier skin for the little cherub. Just wait for it to dry until you dress your bub for their comfort.

ecostore Baby Shampoo

For full disclosure, I do not have a baby of my own. However, my very lovely cousin came over with her 2-month old, Isla, for a weekend of pampering (for Isla, not us). Each and every ecostore product we used on little Isla was like magic. I was even told by my cousin that the products were of much higher quality to some other products she had been using on her daughter.Little Isla does not have a lot of hair at this point, but her little layer of ginger fuzz was made incredibly fluffy and soft to the touch after using ecostore’s Baby Shampoo. It lathered well and rinsed out of Isla’s with no hassle or vigorous scrubbing. We even had people telling us how beautiful her hair smelt later that day. Again, it’s a product that will go a long way if your baby has little to no hair like Isla. For babies that are more follicle-blessed, you might go through it a bit quicker.

ecostore Baby Soap

To try ecostore’s Baby Soap I enlisted the help of my cousin, Maddy and her 2-month-old daughter, Isla. Maddy, interestingly, had already bought one of these soap bars for Isla prior to her being born. She’d already read about how wonderful this product was and wanted to be prepared for when her newborn came home. It was lovely and gentle on Isla’s delicate skin and smelt amazing and fresh. Keep in mind, if you have a very wriggly little bub then this might be a bit tricky. Isla enjoys a good kick in the tub, so we lathered the soap in our hands before applying to her skin. That did the trick!

ecostore Nappy Balm

Have you ever heard of Horopito? Neither had I until I tried ecostore’s Baby Nappy Balm. It is an active ingredient used to nourish and protect the most sensitive of skin. Obviously, I didn’t use this product on myself. I enlisted the help of my 2-month-old cousin, Isla (and her mother), to test out this beauty! This product is a very soothing balm for nappy rash, but also other skin conditions that might be affecting your bub from cradle cap to dry skin. It was non-greasy and buttery soft on Isla’s precious skin. Isla’s mum (my cousin) told me she would definitely buy this again for her tiny girl!

ecostore Sleepytime Bath

For full disclosure, I do not have a baby of my own. However, my very lovely cousin came over with her 2-month old, Isla, for a weekend of pampering (for Isla, not us). Each and every ecostore product we used on little Isla was like magic. I was even told by my cousin that the products were of much higher quality to some other products she had been using on her daughter. This product was the favourite of Isla’s mum. It is a beautiful tonic that you pour into the warm bath water. When do you, it releases the most amazing aromas that actually work well in promoting sleep. Isla was so calm after her bath and went straight to sleep (this rarely happens for Isla, so it was quite a magical moment). Isla’s mum even said she would go out and buy it again purely for its sleep-inducing power! This is a must-have for parents with fussy sleepers.

Lovekins Baby Massage Oil

To test out Lovekins’ Baby Massage Oil, I called in my friend Dana and her gorgeous little boy, Zyah. When reading the label, Dana commented that it was filled with some of her favourite essential oils: almond, geranium and lavender oils. Together blended with coconut oil and vitamin E, the organic massage oil offered a subtle, natural scent and light-weight consistency. Dana massaged Zyah’s skin morning and night and found that it provided relief for his sometimes dry or irritated skin. She loved the ritual of using Lovekins Baby Massage Oil with her little one and admitted to even using it on herself! Why not?!

Lovekins Premium Nappy Pants

For this review, I called in my friend Dana and her gorgeous little boy, Zyah. Dana slipped Lovekins Premium Nappy Pants on Zyah, commenting how easy the pull-up style was, and off they went with strict instructions to give me honest feedback. A few days later, Dana shared that Lovekins was her new favourite brand! She said the nappy pants were soft and comfortable on Zyah’s skin and easy to put on thanks to their stretchy waistband. She commented on how affective they were in absorption compared to other nappies and the fact she loved the natural approach, being chlorine-, fragrance- and toxic-dye free.

Clemence Baby + Mum Balm

I don’t have a baby, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy using their skincare products sometimes. The Clemence Organics Mum + Bub balm is not just for mums and bubs. I have adopted this beautiful little balm as my lip treatment of choice. It served me well through the winter months and not only protected and healed my dry lips but even prevented further damage. I love the silky texture and the smell has become something I crave. It’s a beautiful and very versatile balm. Use it on everything!
