Pulled Pork Sliders
This pulled pork is one of my go-to busy-day recipes. It cooks in the slow cooker with minimal effort; it’s super versatile and legit delicious.

Ingredients
- 400g tomato passata
 - ½ cup beef stock
 - 1/3 cup brown sugar
 - 1/3 cup apple-cider vinegar
 - 2 tsp mustard powder
 - 2 tsp garlic powder
 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
 - 2 tbsp molasses
 - ½ tsp liquid smoke (optional)
 - 2kg pork shoulder
 - 2 tsp salt
 - 1 tsp ground black pepper
 
Method
- Place the sauce ingredients into a saucepan and bring to the boil.
 - Lower the heat and simmer for 30 mins until the sauce reduces by half.
 - Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper and place it in the slow cooker.
 - Pour 1 cup of sauce over it.
 - Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 6 hours.
 - Use 2 forks to shred the pork and mix the sauce through it
 - If you want to add extra sauce, just drizzle it over and mix it through.
 - Serve in buns with fresh coleslaw.
 - Note: The leftover sauce can be stored in a jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
