Quark & Flaxseed Oil Mayonnaise

Recipe / DR JOHANNA BUDWIG Dr Johanna Budwig’s quark mayo comes from her Oil Protein Diet in which flaxseed oil is an essential ingredient in her famous cancer treatments. Try it with almond lemon crumble & asparagus featured here or use as a salad dressing, dip or sauce.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Stoney Creek Organic Flaxseed Oil
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 3 tbsp quark/cottage cheese (or natural yoghurt)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice &/or 2 tbsp apple-cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • ½ tsp herb or sea salt (or less if desired)
  • 2-3 tbsp fresh herbs such as dill, marjoram, mint, chives

Method


  • In a blender, combine oil, milk and quark.
  • Add lemon juice/vinegar, mustard and salt.
  • Add fresh herbs to suit.
