Tender orange-braised pork ribs with ginger and citrus, simmered in a flavourful Asian-inspired sauce for a delicious meal.

Ingredients

  • 500g pork ribs, diced into 8cm pieces
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 50g sliced ginger
  • 1 tbsp Pearl River Bridge Gluten Free
  • Less Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Pearl River Bridge Premium
  • Oyster Flavoured Sauce
  • 100mL orange juice
  • 50mL Pearl River Bridge Rice Vinegar
  • 40g sugar
  • 250mL water
  • Salt to taste
  • 50g segmented orange pieces, diced
  • 15g orange peel, thinly sliced
  • 15g lemon peel, thinly sliced

Method


  • Soak the ribs in water for 30 mins and rinse well.
  • Heat the oil and ginger in a deep, heavy-based sauté pan or wide Dutch oven with a lid. Fry the ribs until both sides are golden.
  • Add all remaining ingredients except the orange pieces and peels, cover and braise for 25 mins.
  • Uncover and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  • Stir in the orange pulp and citrus peels before serving.
