Bruxism

Bruxism refers to the unintentional grinding of teeth, as a way of releasing tension, usually during sleep. Chronic bruxism can cause misalignment of teeth, damage to the jaw bone, receding gums, tooth loss and eventually temperomandibular joint syndrome.
