Eyes – corneal ulcer

Ulceration of the cornea makes the eye vulnerable to developing an infection. 

Causes: injury (e.g. foreign body in the eye) and inappropriate wearing of contact lenses.

Symptoms: inflammation, redness, itchiness

Who to consult: Dietician, GP, herbalist, naturopath, optician, optometrist, ophthalmologist.
