Fabry’s disease

Fabry’s disease results from an enzyme deficiency, which makes it difficult for the body to biodegrade fats. As people with Fabry’s disease age they are more likely to experience heart attacks, strokes, kidney dysfunction and gastrointestinal problems.

Symptoms: burning sensations in the hands and feet that worsen with exercise and hot weather, raised skin blemishes and cloudiness of the cornea.
