Trust your intuition

5 ways to trust your intuition

You are an incredibly intuitive being and, when you stop to listen, your inner voice is speaking to you. Maybe you ignore this voice or let your ego run the show but you know that it’s there. We are all intuitive beings and, when you trust your intuition, it will become clearer and more powerful. The more you practise, the more it will develop, just like any other skill.

If you are longing to enhance your intuition, I’d love to share some of my favourite ways of doing this:

  1. Spend time in silence. Our lives are very busy and we spend so much time connecting with others both on social media and in real life. In order to connect with our intuition we need to be quiet. You can start with only 5 minutes a day and gradually spend more time listening within.
  2. Listen and act on your intuitive guidance. Decide to really listen to your intuition and act on it. It can be as simple as taking a new road when you go to work or eat foods that feel right intuitively. The more you pay attention to your intuition and follow its advice the more space it will take in your life.
  3. Give yourself love and attention. Trusting your intuition is ultimately about trusting yourself. The more you love and respect yourself the more you will trust your own voice. Of course friends and family know you and love you but the only one who truly knows what’s best for you is you.
  4. Listen to guided meditations. Guided meditations are a great way to explore your inner world and to help you open up inside. They can nurture your intuition and help you do the inner work you need to release what is blocking you so you can expand and grow.
  5. Spend time with people who love and respect you. When you are surrounded by people who honour you just as you are, you will feel free to explore your spirituality and your intuitive skills. Maybe you can even talk about these topics with them and share your stories. Support can be so powerful for spiritual growth and the more you spend time with people who are open and receptive the more you can invite these qualities into your life.

I hope these ideas and tips are helpful and I would love to know what helps you to trust your intuition more. Developing your intuition can be fun and exciting ! It doesn’t have to feel like a chore and be one more thing on your massive to-do list. The more fun you have when you open up to your intuitive side, the easier it will be.

And remember: there is no set destination, only many ways to explore this beautiful path.
