Ingredients

  • 1 tsp celery seeds, whole
  • 2 cups filtered water, boiling
  • 1 tsp honey (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 slice fresh ginger or a squeeze of lemon (optional, for added flavour & immune support)

Method


  • Crush the celery seeds slightly using a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon to release their oils.
  • Place the crushed seeds in a tea infuser or directly in a heatproof mug.
  • Pour the boiling water over the seeds and let steep for 10-20 mins.
  • Strain if needed.
  • Add honey, ginger or lemon if desired.
  • Tip: To enhance the healing experience, choose a beautiful cup to enjoy your tea in and a relaxing space to sip your brew in peace, slowly and mindfully. Visualise the benefi ts spreading through your body.
