Pear, Pecan & Blue Cheese on Toast Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 pears, cored & cut into wedges
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 4 thick slices sourdough bread
  • 150g soft blue cheese
  • 1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
  • 4 tsp honey
  • Thyme, to garnish

Method


  • Brush the pear wedges with oil and grill until caramelised.
  • Lightly toast the sourdough then spread the blue cheese over each slice.
  • Top with wedges of pear and the pecans, then drizzle with honey. Sprinkle each slice with fresh thyme and serve warm.
