Aspartame is a poison not a sweetener

A colleague some years ago sent me a copy of an article on aspartame from the World Environmental Conference on Aspartame. The document is ages old now but how many people know about what it contained? Aspartame is a sugar substitute and is used here in Australia.

Aspartame is a poisonSeems there is a world epidemic of multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus, and they did not understand what toxin was causing this to be rampant across the United States. This is what prompted this investigation mentioned above in the first place.

It seems that when the temperature of Aspartame exceeds 86 degrees F, the wood alcohol in Aspartame converts to formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis. The methanol toxicity mimics multiple sclerosis; thus people were being diagnosed with having multiple sclerosis in error.

In the case of systemic lupus, they found it has become almost as rampant as multiple sclerosis, especially with some soft drinks containing the substance. Also, with methanol toxicity, the victims usually drink three to four cans per day, some even more. In the cases of systemic lupus, which can be triggered by Aspartame according to the findings, the victim usually does not know that the aspartame is the culprit. The victim continues its use aggravating the lupus to such a degree that in some cases it has become life threatening.

When people stop using aspartame, those with systemic lupus usually become symptomatic. Unfortunately, the disease cannot be reversed. On the other hand, in the case of those diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, (when in reality, the disease is methanol toxicity), most of the symptoms disappear. There have been some cases where their vision has returned and even their hearing. This also applies to cases of tinnitus.

Diseases such as fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting pains, numbness in legs, cramps, vertigo, dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, joint pain, depression, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, blurred vision, or memory loss are all symptoms of aspartame disease.

Read labels of what the sweetener actually containsThere are over 5,000 products containing Aspartame in the USA. How many in Australia? Please read your labels. You will be surprised. Check out the labels next time you see something which does not contain sugar!! There is evidence overseas that some people have actually been going blind. The methanol in the aspartame converts to formaldehyde in the retina of the eye. However I need to say never believe just something you read. It is important to be empowered regarding your health so I would encourage you to Google for more information before you make your decisions. There are many articles on the dangers of Aspartame in our bodies.

Aspartame changes the brain’s chemistry by changing the dopamine level in the brain. Now think what affect that could have? The Congressional record in USA said, “It makes you crave carbohydrates” so what does that do to our efforts of weight loss? The formaldehyde stores in the fat cells, particularly in the hips and thighs and affects the blood sugar levels. Also what is the affect when it converts to wood alcohol on a diabetic? Not good.

So the next time you reach for anything containing aspartame (diet foods and drinks and maybe that ‘innocent’ piece of chewing gum which is ‘sugar free’) think twice about the price you are paying with your body for that little bit of fake sweet taste. There are many natural, healthy sugar substitutes that you can now buy. Take a look at the labels of those, do some research and decide which one is for you. It will probably be a much healthier choice.
