Hemp And Chickpea Hummus

Hemp seeds are a fantastic source of complete protein as they contain all essential amino acids. This makes hemp the perfect protein source for vegetarians and vegans. Hemp is also a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, vitamin E, magnesium and B vitamins.

Makes: 1 jar



  • 1½ cups cooked chickpeas
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ clove garlic, crushed
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • ½ cup water
  1. Add all ingredients to blender. Blend to smooth and creamy paste.
  2. Pour into serving bowl and top with extra drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle of hemp seeds.
