Mango and Turmeric Lassi

Mangoes are rich in beta-carotene goodness, vital for keeping your gums and eyesight in good health. Yoghurt is a wonderful source of probiotics to support better digestion and immune health. Yoghurt also supplies a good dose of protein, calcium and vitamin D to promote strong, healthy bones.

Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe mango
  • 1 cup natural yoghurt
  • Juice orange
  • Pinch ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • Chopped almonds & orange zest, to serve

Method


  • Place ingredients except almonds and orange zest in blender and blend until well combined.
  • Serve topped with chopped almonds, a sprinkle of turmeric and some orange zest.
